Sharon created this transom window with sidelights that enliven a mahogany door to create this striking entryway. These windows are fabricated with a combination of lead and zinc channel that feature hand blown roundels created by her brother Eric Bladholm of Chicago Glass Works with whom she often collaborates. Special ‘flash’ glass which is hand blown with a layer of ruby red glass over clear, is used to dramatic effect in showcasing the address numerals in high contrast. The ruby red layer is removed by sandblasting to reveal a white lettering.
