The only specifications for this window was that it would be large enough to fill a window on the side of a John Hancock residence and that it would have a nature theme. Sharon did research and drawings from the live tanks at the Shedd Aquarium and at the Field Museum library to create a masterpiece of underwater life, including an unknown species of frog-footed mermaid that must dwell in Lake Michigan that spreads and shimmers below the Hancock Tower!
