SECOND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
1936 Michigan Avenue, Chicago, 1874, Gothic Revival, Architect Howard Van Doren Shaw
Opal Glass restored the quatrefoil bell tower windows of his Gothic revival gem on South Michigan Ave. Climbing 7 stories up scaffolding to examine the original panels it was clear many that many of the broken painted panes would need to repainted with a new stencil pattern and re-fired and then replaced. This was also a collaborative project with Jensen Window Corporation.
